Why am I being charged a chargeback fee?

A chargeback occurs when a participant disputes a payment directly with their credit card company instead of requesting a refund through our platform.

During the registration process, we make it clear multiple times that all charges will appear on your statement as “AdminSports, Jasper TN.” This information is repeated throughout checkout to prevent any confusion. We also stress that filing a chargeback should be a last resort, as it has a negative impact on both AdminSkiRacing and the sponsoring region.

When a chargeback is issued for a payment made on our website, we are charged a penalty fee—even if the dispute is later reversed by the credit card company. This fee is passed along to the region associated with the transaction, and it is then up to the region to determine whether it is billed to the registrant based on their policies.

We take customer satisfaction very seriously and work diligently to resolve any issues that may arise.

Chargebacks can also harm our reputation with payment processors and may lead to higher processing fees or delays in the future.

If you experience an issue with a payment, please contact us or the Race Administrator directly so we can resolve it promptly and help avoid unnecessary fees.
